DESCRIPTION:This mixed all-levels class is designed to bring together people with different dance backgrounds in one shared space. The class is less technical and places more emphasis on feeling expressive\, present and connected in the room. \nThe balance here is roughly 70% expression and 30% technique. That means there is still structure\, clarity and growth\, but there is also plenty of room for alternative movement and individual interpretation. The session is adaptable\, so beginners and more experienced dancers can both engage meaningfully without the class feeling too difficult or too simple. \nThis class is especially valuable for the sense of community it creates. You are not being measured only by ability level; instead\, you are welcomed into a space where different types of movers can push\, motivate and inspire one another. \nIf you are unsure whether this class is for you\, it is usually best to start with a beginner class and then speak to a member of the 1Syllable team\, or email us\, so we can help guide you to the right level. \nWho it’s for\n\nAdults of different dance backgrounds who want a shared class experience.\nPeople who want expression\, creativity and community alongside movement.\nBeginners who are ready for more space and variety.\nMore experienced dancers who want a class that feels open\, adaptable and motivating.\n\nWhat to expect\nYou will move through a short introduction\, warm-up\, guided movement and choreography that can be adapted to different experience levels. The class prioritises expression and community while still offering enough structure to help you grow. \nEvery ticket includes a goody bag and professional filming is available for anyone who would like. \nOutcome\nYou leave feeling challenged\, supported\, creatively open and part of a community that values expression as much as ability. \nPractical note\nPlease arrive 10–15 minutes early so you can settle in and get familiar with the space before class begins.
