Mixed All Levels Class

This mixed all-levels class is designed to bring together people with different dance backgrounds in one shared space. The class is less technical and places more emphasis on feeling expressive, present and connected in the room.
The balance here is roughly 70% expression and 30% technique. That means there is still structure, clarity and growth, but there is also plenty of room for alternative movement and individual interpretation. The session is adaptable, so beginners and more experienced dancers can both engage meaningfully without the class feeling too difficult or too simple.
This class is especially valuable for the sense of community it creates. You are not being measured only by ability level; instead, you are welcomed into a space where different types of movers can push, motivate and inspire one another.
If you are unsure whether this class is for you, it is usually best to start with a beginner class and then speak to a member of the 1Syllable team, or email us, so we can help guide you to the right level.
