Women-only Vocal / Nasheeds (Beginner)

This women-only beginner class is built around movement, rather than by a heavy beat or familiar lyrical structure. Instead of music, the class uses vocals and/or nasheeds, offering a different kind of soundscape for movement that feels stripped back, open and deeply personal.
The class is ideal for women who want to step away from secular music or music altogether, and for those who are looking for a space that feels culturally sensitive, private and genuinely welcoming. It is also a beautiful option for women who want to experience dance in a different way, where the body, mind and breath have more space to lead.
Movement in this class can feel soft, expressive, grounding, or whatever it needs to be for you. Because there is less sound to lean on, the class creates an eye-opening experience: you are invited to trust your own instincts, your own rhythm and your own interpretation. That can feel honest, freeing and surprisingly liberating.
The atmosphere values community, uplift and comfort, so you can come solo or with a friend and feel held in the room.

- Women who want a different sound and a different relationship to movement.
